Hi, my friends!
Halloween is just around the corner, and here I am, once again putting my mask on the line. I am having a three-way match: Mask vs. Title vs. Hair. Everyone has something to lose! I'll have a mask to wear on the 31st, but what will happen after November 9th?
I feel great and confident. I am in great shape, and have been doing cardio. Training is very important; I've been working my ass off!
November 1st, I have a shot at the OWA International Title. I am also ready for this match! I go up against Black Huracan; I can't wait to see what he's bringing to (or through) the table. Wish me luck!
Have a great weekend, my friends! I hope to see you at the matches. If you interested in attending one of these shows, click the "Events" tab for times, addresses. and other details.
Take care my friends...
Peace, and Viva la Lucha!
Focus, dedication, and motivation are keys to the success of any goal; not just for wrestling, but for everything in life.
This past Saturday, I went to Maywood to support the Lions Club's Walk for Peace.
It feels good to give back to the community by supporting a good cause: Peace for our community and our children.
Also on Saturday, I went to wrestle at HEX Dome in the city of Oxnard. I teamed up with Psicosis against Mr. Aguila and Scarecrow.
It feels great to have a successful match, and prove that local talent can keep up with stars from CMLL and AAA; also to prove that we are prepared, and ready to perform on a professional level.
As always, my friends: Thank you so much for your support!
Have a great week, God bless, and I'll see you around...
This was another week of working out and training hard. I got to train in 106 degree heat, and I've also been working out non-stop; not easy, but I am keeping focused on my goal.
Today--Saturday--I will be wrestling, and I like the feeling. I feel motivated once more. This sports has its ups and downs: I try to not let the "downs" get the best of me. I try to stay positive; good things will happen.
As always, thank you all for the support, and have a great weekend!
I'll see you around, my friends!
It's been a while since I've written here.
So, OWA's September 6th event was a success! I had a great match against Steve Pain. The crowd was loud! Unfortunately, I lost that match, but that's okay with me: I can't always win. We have to know how to accept defeat; that makes us stronger and better.
I also had a good match at UIPW's event on September 7th against O.G. Play Boy; I also lost that match. Again, we can't win them all. Even though I lost, I am happy because we put up a good fight. In the end, there's always another opportunity.
I am kind of disappointed by some people. I don't want to name names, so we'll just call them "people." I always respect everyone, and I respect this sport. For me, it's not just a hobby, it's part of my life, so I get upset when people show disrespect by thinking that you can work for free. Grow up, "people"! In this life, nothing is free: If you don't know how to conduct a business, or if you don't have experience, then do something else! Don't practice with veteran wrestlers who have been doing this for many years. If you can't afford to pay, then don't even get involved in this profession: Find another hobby, be a mark somewhere else!
As always, have a great day everyone! See you around...
I've been working hard this month, mixing weight lifting and Lucha Libre training. It's tough to stay in shape, yet remain flexible! As always, I am trying to get better, and improve my performances for the fans.
Also, about the comic... I am taking a break. I stayed away for a little while; it's been hard to learn the software, so right now I am burned out on Blender and animation. I'll put it aside for a little while, and focus on training and Lucha--but I'll get back to the comic soon. Sometimes it's good to take a break, to clear the head for new ideas.
As always, thank you guys for the support. If you're interested in being part of the comic, or if you have some ideas, they are welcome: I 'd love to hear from you!
E-mail me, or send me a message on Facebook.
Thank you, my friends! I wish you all the best!
We're only three days into August, and it's already been a great month!
First, Ruben Torres (who does San Diego's HeART of wrestling show in San Diego) published an interview with me on his CONNECTED WITH RUBEN TORRES website! The link is below:
Next, STEVE PAIN is back from Mexico, after a successful tour with AAA! I've had some awesome matches with Steve in the past (we even helped to kick off UIPW together), and now we're training to bring you some of the best matches you'll see in 2014!
Steve has been showing me some new moves he picked up in Mexico, but anything he says and does can--AND WILL--be used against him when we get in the ring (the luchadores' "court of law")!
I'm training extra hard to get into tip-top physical condition for the Oddity Wrestling Alliance match on September 6th!
I don't know what is going to end up hurting more: Getting into the ring with Steve Pain, or the 200 squats I've been doing while training!
Finally, I'm still working on the GUARDIAN motion comic. Producing animation is slow even with a crew of professionals, and I'm still trying to do just about everything with my own two hands. I've recently rendered some ideas for the bad guys that I can share with you...
I'm always looking for feedback, so... What do you think?
And if any of you are--or know--voice actors, I'm still casting for roles, so maybe you can "own" one of these badasses from the beginning!
Well, my friends, I have to go do 200 more squats, to get ready for that match with Mr. Pain. I plan on messing up much more than just his hair on September 6th, and I have just over a month to train hard and practice new moves.
In the meantime, please come see me at UIPW on August 10th. Free photo ops, free autographs; I promise that we'll give you your money's worth!
La lucha es vida/la vida es lucha,
PS. Steve Pain is giving lucha lessons! But please don't sign up if you CAN'T STAND THE PAIN!!
Here's a link to a recent interview with Steve; contact information is below:
THIS PAST JUNE 28TH, I WAS INVITED TO THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY COMIC BOOK EXPO. THIS WAS MY 2ND TIME AS A GUEST AT A COMIC EXPO. I HAD A GREAT TIME, AND I HAD THE CHANCE TO SHOW MY MOTION COMIC, ALSO I GOT TO SEE SOME OF MY WRESTLING FANS. THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT, GUYS! WE'RE STILL WORKING ON THE COMIC; I HOPE THAT THE FIRST EPISODE WILL COME OUT SOON--SO MUCH WORK TO DO! I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED. PLEASE CHECK MY YOU TUBE CHANNEL, AND SUBSCRIBE! THANK YOU!
Here is an update on the motion comic: We are working on learning animation. We want to go one step beyond a regular motion comic by adding some 3D animation for action and fight scenes. This video is a test for animation that we will add to the project
Working on the motion comic... There's a lot more needed to learn and to do. We need help. If you want to participate, please send us an email with your ideas. If you want to try out for voiceovers, also send us an email: firstname.lastname@example.org
